About PIC0-1

PIC0-1 System
PIC0-1 is a standalone and modular Water Jet Drive Propulsion system engineered for additive manufacturing. Hundreds (and hundreds) of hours of iterative design, CFD analysis, testing and sometimes swimming (ask me how I got a pulmonary edema during development lol) have brought us here.
PIC0-1 is a living project. It will continue to be upgraded with further testing and development. N.E.R.D. Inc. propulsion systems are more than a product. It's a community. We're all trying to go fast and the journey of 3D printed speed is a continuous one that we invite you to be a part of.
About Scooter Sport

Scooter Sport
I spent 14 months with the initial development of PIC0-1 (leaning heavily on my experience in hydrodynamics) only to have a complete jet drive with nothing to put it in.
So Sooter Sport was born! I wanted a pocket boat, but I wanted it to have more features like self righting and adjustable hull trim.
Scooter Sport is developed from the ground up around the PIC0-1 system.
I wanted you folks to have a hull to enjoy the PIC0-1 with and Scooter Sport is the result of that. It comes free with the purchase of PIC0-1 so you can be on the water asap!
About The Developer
Hi I'm Tim
I have a passion for engineering.
I have always be fascinated in propulsion in all of its forms.
I have worked as a rapid design specialist for 10 years and I have been 3D printing for 12 years.
I saw the (almighty) Super Sprint in action back in January 2024 and thought "Damn, that would be super cool as a 9 or 10" boat" And the quest started. It has been full of learning, excitement, frustration, successes and failures. And now we're here. We well be farther along in another year. But I figure it's high time to get this project out to you fine folks.

What's Next?

The Journey Continues
PIC0-1 and Scooter Sport are just the start.
- I am currently working on Race and Economy variants of the PIC0-1 pump for a "oh that's too fast" and a "oh that's a long runtime" option.
- I am continually optimizing the PIC0-1 pump and Scooter hull to push the limits of what a 3D printed 10" boat can do.
- I am currently developing a larger pump that will make a 12-13" boat go WAY too fast for it's own good.
